Club Management

The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting. These are voluntary positions with the exception of the General Manager's position. Each Director has been assigned an area of accountability as detailed below.

President Ray Childs Director for Audit & Compliance, General Management of the Club Work with General Manager & VP to ensure benchmark levels of the club's operations are maintained.
Conduct appropriate checks and balances of the club's financial position.
Conduct compliance audits as required.
Manage the program of works for renovations and refurbishments.
With Club Professional and GM, meet with Council to discuss golf course matters.
As required, review any marketing, promotional or club information for publication.
Vice-President Lindsay Munro Director of Operations  Work with General Manager & President to ensure benchmark levels of the club's operations are maintained.
Work with General Manager to improve the club's operations where possible.
Consolidate and report on major initiatives undertaken at board level.
Chair of Building sub-committee.
Captain Tom O'Sullivan Director of Golf Schedule and run all local golf competitions, ensuring a fair and even competition.
Coordinate the Match Committee which is responsible for running all activities pertaining to golf.
Meet with Council to discuss golf course matters.
Director Chris Lynch Director of Corporate Relationships  Establish a golf club presence and awareness in the corporate sector through marketing and promotions.
Develop a corporate golf day offering.
Liaise with Director of Marketing to develop appropriate strategies.
Director Gary Flynn Director of Marketing and Membership Services Develop and implement a club marketing strategy.
Effectively communicate relevant matters to the members in a timely and accessible fashion.
Promote the activities of the Golf Club to its members and guests.
Raise the profile of the Golf Club within the corporate sector and residential community.
Director Frank Gurren Associate Director of Golf Assist the Director of Golf in the scheduling and running of all local golf competitions.
Assist in the coordination of the Match Committee which is responsible for running all activities pertaining to golf.
Director Ross Yates Associate Director of Operations Assist the Director of Operations in working with the General Manager to improve the club’s operations where possible.
Chair of IT Support sub-committee.
General Manager Brian Chalmers Business Manager Responsible for the overall operational management of the club, including compliance to all regulatory and statutory bodies.
